BrickSeek Alternative: Best Free Apps Like BrickSeek (2026)

BrickSeek still works, but it is a lookup tool: you bring a SKU and it tells you price and stock at nearby stores. Most people searching for an alternative want the opposite, a list of what is already marked down near them. Several sites now do that, and two of them are free.

This comparison covers six options. Prices and features were checked on each tool’s own site on October 4, 2026, and BrickSeek and Scavenger were re-checked on November 1, 2026. Endless is our product, so weigh our section accordingly.

Does BrickSeek still work in 2026?

Yes. The free Basic membership checks inventory at local stores and shows 24 hand-picked deals a day. Premium ($19.99/mo) opens the full deals feed, 15 deal alerts and 12 local stores per retailer. Extreme ($39.99/mo) adds historical pricing, 100 alerts and nationwide deals by store.

What changed is the free experience. The deals feed and the inventory checkers now sit behind a sign-in, and browsing everything on clearance at one store is a paid feature. If you only need to confirm that one SKU is in stock before driving, the free tier is still enough.

Good for: confirming a specific item at Walmart, Target or Home Depot. Weak for: browsing a store’s clearance without paying, and Home Depot depth.

Does BrickSeek still work for Walmart?

Partly. On November 1, 2026 BrickSeek still listed Walmart among its retailers and still ran a Walmart inventory checker, and its pricing was unchanged: free Basic, Premium $19.99 a month, Extreme $39.99 a month. What it has not shown reliably since 2022 is Walmart stock: deal sites have warned since then that many Walmart items report inventory as “Unknown” on BrickSeek after a change in the data it receives, while the price still shows.

That leaves BrickSeek useful at Walmart for one thing: checking the price of a known item at nearby stores. It matters because Walmart clearance is often hidden. The same item can be marked down at one store and full price at the next, and the shelf tag can lag the register, so a national price tells you little about your store.

  • Price at nearby stores for one item: BrickSeek Basic, free.
  • Stock count at Walmart: not reliable on BrickSeek; scan the item in the Walmart app with your store selected.
  • Browsing Walmart clearance by ZIP, free: RebelSavings.
  • Endless: shows Walmart prices with price history today, and per-store Walmart clearance is being added. Store-level depth today is at Home Depot and Lowe’s.

BrickSeek for Home Depot

BrickSeek lists Home Depot among its retailers and has a Home Depot inventory checker (checked November 1, 2026). It is a lookup: you enter one product and a location and it returns price and stock at nearby stores. The free Basic tier covers local checks. Browsing deals by store needs Premium ($19.99 a month, 12 local stores per retailer), and nationwide deals by store and price history need Extreme ($39.99 a month).

What BrickSeek does not do at Home Depot is list everything marked down at your store unless you pay, or show how a store’s price got there. For Home Depot clearance specifically:

  • Check one item you already know about: BrickSeek Basic or the Home Depot app with your store set.
  • See what is marked down at your stores: Endless covers 2,000+ Home Depot stores with price history and alerts, and every city has a free page with its live clearance count. See Home Depot clearance by city.
  • Penny items: PennyCentral’s shopper-reported list, or our penny list.

Endless

Endless scans the full Home Depot catalog across 2,000+ stores, with the stores members save checked first. Every price change is stored, so each item carries a price history instead of a single snapshot. It also covers 15 other retailers, including Lowe’s, Costco, Walmart, Best Buy and Nordstrom Rack.

You can browse without an account. Every city has a page with its live clearance count, top markdowns and store addresses, for example Home Depot clearance in Dallas or any other city. A plan adds which store has which item, title search, email alerts and saved stores. Plans are $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99 a month. There is no free tier and no trial.

Good for: Home Depot clearance by store, price history, alerts on your stores, price errors across locations. Weak for: one-off lookups when you do not want a subscription, and barcode scanning in the aisle (there is no scanner).

See what is marked down in your city. Live Home Depot clearance counts and top markdowns, no account needed.

RebelSavings

RebelSavings is a free hidden-clearance tracker for Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, Walgreens and Tractor Supply. It reads store-level pricing and lets you search by ZIP. The site says there is no subscription and no premium tier; ads and affiliate links pay for it. An optional free sign-in adds price-drop alerts.

Good for: free ZIP search across five big-box and drugstore chains. Weak for: price history, and retailers outside those five.

Hidden Clearances

Hidden Clearances lists 143 retailers and posts markdowns of roughly 70% to 99% off, which its team reviews before publishing. Store location, stock count and aisle are shown once you create a free account. It is a curated deal list more than a full store inventory: the homepage showed about 1,500 tracked deals when we checked.

Good for: a free, reviewed feed of very deep markdowns across many retailers. Weak for: seeing everything on clearance at one specific store.

PennyCentral

PennyCentral is a free, community-run Home Depot penny list. Shoppers report items that rang up at $0.01, and the site publishes them with the states where they were seen. It is clear that every lead needs an in-store check. That is the right framing: Home Depot never shows a penny price online, so penny lists everywhere depend on shopper reports.

Good for: the current Home Depot penny list, free. Weak for: ordinary clearance, and knowing whether your store has the item.

Scavenger

Scavenger scans Home Depot stores within 25 miles of a ZIP for penny and clearance items. The first scan is a free preview with no signup. On October 4 its site listed a 3-day trial and then $47 a month, billed through Whop; by November 1 the site no longer published a price. It covers Home Depot only. We wrote a full Scavenger review with the details.

Good for: a quick free look at one ZIP. Weak for: price (more than twice BrickSeek Premium at the last published rate), and anything beyond Home Depot.

Which one should you use?

  • You want free and you shop Home Depot, Lowe’s or Walmart: start with RebelSavings.
  • You want free and only care about 70%+ markdowns: Hidden Clearances.
  • You hunt penny items: PennyCentral for the list, then check the item in the Home Depot app with your store selected.
  • You want one SKU checked at Walmart or Target: BrickSeek Basic.
  • You want every markdown at your own Home Depot stores, with history and alerts: Endless.

No tool sees the shelf. All of them read retailer inventory data, which lags the store by hours. Confirm the price in the retailer’s own app before a long drive.
