Drop Clearance Finder App Review (2026): Price, Coverage, Alternatives

Is the Drop clearance app legit?

Verdict (checked November 1, 2026): Drop is a real iPhone app on the App Store, sold by Cleared LLC and first released August 6, 2026. It lists clearance at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target and Walmart stores near you. The download is free, but the App Store listing says a paid subscription is required to use its content. It is rated 2.9 out of 5 from 46 ratings, and the reviews shown on its listing report deals that were not discounted or not in stock when checked. Treat any find as a lead and confirm the price in the retailer’s app before you drive.

Drop: Clearance Finder is a deal app that shows clearance stock at stores near you, with the aisle number, for four big-box chains. It is iPhone only; we found no Android version.

This review is built from Drop’s own App Store listing, checked November 1, 2026. We make Endless, a competing product, so we stick to what Drop says about itself and what its listing shows, and link the alternatives at the end.

How much does Drop cost?

The app is free to download. The App Store lists two in-app purchases, Drop Premium Monthly and Drop Premium Quarterly, both shown at $12.00. The listing does not say how long a quarterly term lasts beyond its name, or whether there is a free trial. Check the price on the purchase sheet before you confirm, since App Store prices can change.

For comparison, BrickSeek Premium is $19.99 a month, Endless plans start at $9.99 a month, and RebelSavings and Hidden Clearances are free.

How to cancel Drop

Drop bills through the App Store, so you cancel there: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Drop and cancel. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date to stop the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

What Drop covers and what it does not

  • Covered: clearance at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target and Walmart stores near you, with stock and aisle. Push notifications were added in version 1.1.7 (October 23).
  • Not stated: how many stores it covers, how often prices are refreshed, and whether it keeps price history.
  • Not available: Android, and retailers beyond those four.

The four reviews shown on the listing on November 1 were all negative. One reviewer checked more than 20 items and found two or three in stock, all at regular price; another checked more than 30 deals and found none accurate. Four reviews are not a measurement, but they match the most common complaint about every clearance finder: store prices and stock move faster than any app refreshes. Walmart and Target clearance in particular often differs by store, so a price seen for one store says little about the next one.

If you want store-level clearance without paying, RebelSavings searches by ZIP for free, and Endless has a free page for every city with its live Home Depot clearance count, top markdowns and store addresses. See Home Depot clearance by city.

If you shop Walmart, know that Walmart clearance is often hidden: the same item can be marked down at one store and full price at the next, and the shelf tag can lag the register. Endless shows Walmart prices today and is adding per-store Walmart clearance. Until then, scan the item in the Walmart app with your store selected. More in does BrickSeek still work for Walmart.

If you want alerts and history on specific stores, that is what Endless plans are for: save your stores, get an email when something drops, and see each item’s price history. The full comparison is in BrickSeek alternatives, and the Home Depot penny-finder comparison is in our Scavenger review.
